Hope everyone is having a good summer so far. I put up some pictures in the Photoblog, the other, taken at an MC-battle in Wicker Park. The event was fun, some very talented rhymers were there.

I can't wait for this to come out, the Optimus Keyboard. Each of its keys is a small color screen, so you can change the keys to reflect whatever languange or program you are using. Absolutely awesome. Seems like it would be very hard to do this, especially on a commercial scale, but according to his faq it will be available worldwide and cost less than a good cellphone, so we'll see...

People have been having a lot of fun with Google Maps lately. Google Map Mania is a catch-all site for the new hacks and tools people are coming up with, such as Bookmark the Earth, Google Moon (try zooming all the way in), Flickr + Google, Wifi areas + Google, and subway maps such as the Chicago El.

I came across this cool site the other day, Comfort Stand. They are a music promotion site that regularly releases albums for download, totally free and legal. Have fun.

By the way, check out Paul Anka's new album, Rock Swings. It's covers of a whole range of artists, from Van Halen to Lionel Richie, all in Paul's awesome lounge style. The best thing I've heard since Shatner's new album.
