This a series of pictures I did for a college project about vampires. Each piece is supposed to represent a different aspect of the vampire legend or psyche. In addition to these pieces I did a large drawing and a very large painting ( both still unfinished, the painting won't be finished for a looong time). I'll put up those pieces when I get a chance to photograph them. All of the models in these pictures are my friends, from pictures I took specially for this project.

This is my old friend Josh. This piece is supposed to address the issues of morality, addiction, and suffering that a vampire might have to deal with. I wonder whatever happened to Josh?

My friends Vivian and Toula. I tried to express a contrast of innocence vs. wildness, purity vs. evil, submission vs. control. Then again, whose to say who is who?

This is Dave (whom I havn't seen since I last saw Josh) and Nate. That thing Nate is holding is supposed to be a cup filled with his victim's blood - I should have done a wine glass. It's supposed to portray a sense of style and drama.

Val lying on her bed. I wanted to portray a sort of "vampire masturbation" - sucking your own blood. I had alot of fun with this one, I like the way she seems be going wild with it, spreading blood everywhere.

This is my sister, Lauren. It's actually unfinished. It's supposed to allude to how vampires are a part of nature, following instincts they cannot help anymore than the wolf can help hunting the deer.
